About

FRIIV (Female Refugees Integration and Inclusion through Volunteering) is a European Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in Adult Education that aims to strengthen inclusion, diversity and civic participation across Europe through volunteering.
The project focuses on female refugees of all world recognising their potential not only as beneficiaries of support, but as active contributors to European society. By empowering volunteer managers and women with lived refugee experience, FRIIV works towards creating more inclusion, consciousness and sensitive volunteering environments.
FRIIV is coordinated by Erasmus University Rotterdam and implemented by a consortium of universities, NGOs and expert organisations from across Europe.

All materials are designed to support organisations, volunteer managers, educators, and policymakers working on inclusion and volunteering.

State of the Art Report
Research-based analysis on female refugees, volunteering and inclusive volunteer management practices across Europe.
Evaluation Report
Assessment of project impact, effectiveness of the training programme, participant feedback, and recommendations for future initiatives.
Validation Guidelines
Guidelines validating learning acquired by volunteer managers and female volunteers who used to be refugees in their volunteering experience.
Training Methodology & Toolkit
Practical learning materials for volunteer managers and female volunteers with refugee backgrounds.
